Maverick Livestock is home to a small herd of Miniature Texas Longhorn cattle.  Even though we are not selling any Miniature Texas Longhorns at this time, we love to advocate for this classification of the beloved Texas Longhorn breed.

Miniature Texas Longhorns are derived from registered, standard sized Texas Longhorn cattle.  The Texas Longhorn Breeder's Association of America (TLBAA), recognizes Texas Longhorns with a hip height of 45 inches for cows and 48 inches for bulls 3 years of age or older, as a "Miniature."
